CK 5240 Double column Vertical lathe is mainly for disc type workpiece which is large or extra large in size. It can complete inner and outer cylindrical and conical surface, inner and outer spherical surface, grooving, thread cutting, drilling, boring and reaming etc. It's suitable for metallurgy, mining, hoisting and Transportation, shipbuilding, energy and other heavy industries, etc. This advanced lathe has good and rigid structure, excellent performance with good functions and high efficiency; and also it can be equipped with various numerical control systems as requirements. This lathe is suitable for machining of various types of steel casting, forging and weldment.

Worktable : 

The base is composed of a double-sided sawing shaped cast iron parts, reinforced rib, with large rigidity and good dynamic and static stiffness, aluminum alloy can be added to the interior, to reduce the weight of the body.

The table surface is quenched as a whole and then ground, giving it a high precision, hermetically flat surface. The omni-directional precision accuracy of its surface can reach 0.01mm. The table is equipped with a T-slot on the surface and is equipped with a coolant system, slag groove and a clamp to fix the workpiece in position. It also has an overhead guard to protect the operator from the potential risk of injury. The workbench is also equipped with a central lubrication system which simplifies the manual lubrication process and further reduces labor costs. The entire workbench is made of high-precision CNC milling machine assembly and is equipped with a PLC man-machine programming control system for easy operation.

The entire workbench sets power, vibration and temperature monitoring, and operates in constant temperature and humidity environment for maximum efficiency and accuracy. It has a high precision, good rigidity, easy operation, large consumption and other advantages. Gantry frame:

The Gantry frame consists of left and right columns and connecting beams. The left and right columns and the base of the table are of thermal symmetry structure. The material is made of high strength and low stress cast iron, and effective vibration reduction measures are adopted. The guide rail surface adopts medium frequency post-quenching grinding process, and the joint surface of the guide rail adopts manual scraping to ensure the fitting accuracy and the rigidity of the whole machine.

The column is connected with the base of the table and is respectively made on the basis. The upper part of the gantry frame is provided with a lifting box, driven by double shaft extension AC motor, through the gear pair and worm - worm gear pair and double screw to make the beam lift and move.

The axial direction of the beam is provided with a fine-tuning structure of equal height.

The left and right columns are equipped with telescopic stainless steel protective cover under the beam guide rail.
